The Langtang region just lying North of Kathmandu Valley outstretches on Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchowk districts of Central Nepal. The classic Langtang Valley is a fascinating destination for tourists, not only because of its accessibility from the capital city. It is called so, on being the best adventure site for both experienced and novice trekking enthusiasts.

This trek provides an incredible backdrop to enjoy the picturesque scenery of terraced hills, temperate meadows, rocky mountain bases, and snowcapped peaks. This trek is a quiet and moderate destination with the remarkable beauty of Langtang National Park. Being the Himalayan region, you witness the famous peak of Langtang Lirung (7245m). Other peaks you get to observe are Ganesh Himal, Jugal, Manaslu, Dorjelakpa, each being equally soaring.
The region is an example of excellent natural abundance where on a lucky day you get to encounter rare animals like red panda, langur, musk deer, snow leopards, and many bird species. You get to encompass the beautiful forest arrest adorned with the varieties of Rhododendron, Pine, and Birch trees.
Hiking up to the Langtang valley, Kyanjin Gompa is worth exploring its cultural significance and the natural wilderness. This trek also encompasses the small traditional villages who are mainly Tamangs and Sherpas. So, it's a privilege there to explore the Tibeto- Buddhist culture. An early morning climbing to Tserko Ri, which is the highest point of this trek is popular for its astonishing view of sunrise. Langtang valley, the hidden valley has many surprises to offer along with its most appealing scenes.
This trek can also be extended for the long trail if you wish to explore the Tamang Heritage Trail through the alternative routes, the Helambu Circuit and hiking to Gosaikunda. Gosaikunda is a sacred glacial lake, a sage site for Hindu and Buddhists. Apart from its cultural significance, the area is very popular for its scattered water bodies that serve majestic views of the Himalayas. During the trek, you also encounter large yak meadows and the cheese factories produce yak cheese. Moreover, the hospitality of people throughout the trek is very rewarding.
