Langtang Valley Trek
The Langtang Trek is one of Nepal’s most popular treks, located in the Langtang National Park, north of Kathmandu. It offers breathtaking mountain views, vibrant culture, and diverse flora and fauna.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in (TIA-1350m) Kathmandu Airport.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syaprubensi (1462m) by bus 7 hours.
Day 03: Trek from syabru bensi to Lama Hotel (2500m) takes 6 hours.
Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang valley (3430m) takes 6 hours.
Day 05: Trek from Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3798m) takes 4 hours
Day 06: Hike to early morning from Kyanging Gompa to Kyangin ri (4700m) or Chergo- ri (4985m) takes 7 hours.
Day 07: Trek back kyanging gompa to Lama Hotel (2500m) takes 6 hours
Day 08: Trek back Lama Hotel to Syabru Beshi (1462m) takes 6 hours
Day 09: Drive back syapru bensi to Kathmandu. Takes 7 hours.
Day 10: Final departure, transfer to international airport for the next destination.

Location and Accessibility
Langtang is about sixty kilometers north of Kathmandu. The trek typically starts from Syabrubesi, which you can reach by a seven to eight-hour drive from Kathmandu.Duration The trek usually takes seven to ten days, depending on your pace and the specific route.• Highlights:You’ll experience incredible views of Langtang Lirung, glaciers, alpine meadows, and lush forests. The local Tamang and Tibetan culture is also a big draw. • Best Time to Visit: The best months are March to May (spring) and September to November (autumn). These seasons offer clear skies and pleasant weather. • Permits: You’ll need a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card and a Langtang National Park entry permit. Both are available in Kathmandu. • Accommodation: Tea houses are common along the trail, offering meals and a place to stay. They’re simple but comfortable enough for trekkers. • Physical Preparation: While the Langtang trek isn’t as demanding as some other treks in Nepal, it does involve high-altitude hiking.
