Mardi Himal: A Tranquil Trek in the Annapurna Region

Discover the serene beauty of Mardi Himal, a hidden gem in Nepal’s Annapurna region.  The journey begins from Kande or Phedi, easily accessible from Pokhara. Over 5 to 7 days, trekkers traverse through lush rhododendron forests, charming villages, and alpine meadows. Key stops include:

Australian Camp: A scenic spot with panoramic mountain views. Forest Camp: A peaceful retreat surrounded by dense forests. Low Camp & High Camp: Offering progressively better views of the surrounding peaks.

 The trek is moderate to challenging, making it suitable for those with some trekking experience. The best times to visit are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) for clear skies and stable weather.

 Mardi Himal provides a quieter alternative to more crowded treks, with opportunities to experience local culture and enjoy the natural beauty of the Himalayas. Basic tea houses and camping options are available along the route, and trekkers need to obtain the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) Card.
